Billing and Accounting

Current legislation does not permit wholesale distribution of a fee structure as this implies collusion. We have chosen a “scale of benefits” that most South African Medical Schemes will cover. All patients are levied the same fees and we do not discriminate.

Electronic Submission of Accounts

As a courtesy to our patients who are covered by Medical Aid we submit claims directly to their scheme for reimbursement. Any balances due to whatever reason remain the liability of the patient and notice of any outstanding amounts are sent by mail.

Private Patients

Private patients who are not covered by medical aid are required to settle their accounts immediately after each appointment unless prior arrangements are made with our accounts department.

Method of Payment

All recognized credit and debit cards are welcome as well as cheques and EFT (electronic funds transfer). For foreign patients there is a currency exchange facility conveniently situated within walking distance of the practice.
